Throughout history there have been many movies and books that represent a time period of striff, grief, and conquest to name a few. Throughout my lifetime though i have seen many historical films the one that truely effected me was Hero. This historical film took place in the warring period in china where the 7 states of china were fighting for eachothers land. In this movie assasins from the state of zhao attempt to assasinate the king of quin. However, a brave Hero from quin appears to have slane all three of the mighty zhao assasins. The movie ultimately is a example of the harsh times and true personality of those individuels who fought and were praised as Heros. Though at the end of the film the look on a Hero is challenged and through deep emotion changed. The emotion and action of these people fascinated me due to there sacrifice and desire/pride rule over thereself. Due to this i felt Hero was a very powerfull message and the images even more so on what a Hero really is.
